In Utero - Month 6: November 19 - December 19

At long last, Dad got a break from school at the end of November for Thanksgiving. We headed up to Long Island to spend the holiday with Dave, Mel, Zanna, and James. On the drive up Mama and Wolflaser had a serious disagreement about traffic and knitting and Wolflaser won - Mac and Cheese vomit out of a moving car on the freeway. Yikes. We did make it, safe and sound, to NY, in the end.

Thanksgiving with cousins, aunts and uncles was a blast!

One highlight from this trip, was that on Thanksgiving Day uncle Dave had to work at the hospital, so everyone else headed to the hospital cafeteria around lunchtime to have our turkey dinner cafeteria style. While Mama was in line, she wanted some chocolate milk (which, apparently, is not available to the general public in this particular cafeteria). The cashier hesitated a moment, and then said... "Well, if it's for the baby... I'll go get you some." This was the first time that a stranger knew that Mama was pregnant (and not just sloppily overweight) just by looking at her. Yay! The chocolate milk was just and extra bonus!

After Thanksgiving, Wolflaser and company headed back to Winchester to see out the rest of Fall semester in the PA program. Mama got her glucola test it was negative for gestational diabetes (yay!). Just after finals, Dad and his PA friends (headed by Taylor Murphy and Kim Gaines) threw a surprise baby shower for Wolflaser!
